About Alex Kauffman
For more than a decade, I have helped nonprofit organizations grow through thoughtful fundraising, strategic database management, and authentic relationship-building. My career has taken me from teaching music at a community arts school to managing educational data for more than half a million constituents at Carnegie Hall, and to building Development Departments from the ground up for mission-driven organizations. Working across four different CRM databases has given me a deep understanding of how clean data, intentional strategy, and meaningful relationships work together to create sustainable fundraising success.

Music has been a defining part of my life for more than 25 years, and I've spent the past 15 years as a piano teacher. Teaching has shaped the way I consult—I don't just solve problems; I empower clients with the knowledge and confidence to continue growing long after our work together. My background as a musician has also taught me to approach data with both curiosity and creativity, finding patterns, opportunities, and solutions that help nonprofits thrive.
